Boarding / Agistment
Is your farm not quite ready yet? Are you running out of space? Do you just want to own Alpacas, but don't have the facilities? No problem!
Redwood Ranch Alpacas offers top quality boarding/agisting services. We have had our own alpacas and have experienced all aspects of owning and maintaining Alpacas including breeding, birthing, giving shots, parasite control, and other routine daily care.
We proudly care for all Alpacas at Redwood Ranch Alpacas as if they are our own. We have a closely followed quarantine protocol in place for the protection of everyone's animals. All have been tested and are BVD free. Should it become necessary we have local access to a Camelid trained and experienced vet.
Feeding and poop clean up is done twice daily both to ensure good hygiene and just to be out among the Alpacas ensuring that they're happy and content. A happy Alpaca is a healthy / producing Alpaca!
Alpaca owners are welcome to visit their Alpacas any time. |

Additional Details Redwood Ranch Alpacas sits in the middle of 27 acres of remote countryside with facilities specifically constructed for Alpacas. We have 5' no climb fences and secure gates. A Guard Llama looks over our expecting moms and new born crias often "cria-sitting" while mom's off grazing. Our work-at-home mom has an office that overlooks the pasture to keep a close eye on everything.
Facilities include a quality constructed 1000 sq ft Alpaca barn, two large and two smaller pasture areas. There's also a large pasture used as a quarantine area with it's own shelter.
We also have a seperate 1000 sq ft barn for our herdsires/jr herdsires and yes 2 mores pastures to go with it.
In 2008 we'll be expanding our orginal Alpaca barn by more than 1,700 sq ft and building two more large pastures. In all, we'll have more than 3,800 sq ft of barn space custom built for Alpacas.
