Silver Shadow's Winter Soltice   

Medium Rose Grey, 30012727, 1/2 Bolivian, 1/2 Peruvian

Winter is a beautiful extremely rare rose grey Suri female.

She is presently bred to SBS Phoenix and due on May 20, 2008. Winter delivered an incredible rose grey female "Winter's Magic" on 5/30/08.

When I first bought Phoenix it was with the hope that he would pass on some of the traits of his fabulous dam ARIZONA SAGE. His sire, SWEET FOXFIRE JAX, is beautiful in his own right, but ARIZONA SAGE is what really sealed the deal for me when it came to making the decision to purchase Phoenix as one of my foundation animals in my breeding program. Arizona is in a class all her own when it comes to fabulous luster and gorgeous suri phenotype.

Well, I am thrilled to announce that Phoenix's first crias are hitting the ground and I feel they are excellent and are exhibiting the greasy luster that I was hoping he would produce! All the crias so far, out of a variety of pedigreed dams and dams of different style and type are all consistent in their greasy lustrous fleece style.

I am more excited than ever to have Phoenix as a cornerstone in my breeding program. So far he is exceeding my expectations!

Magic recently delivered a bay black male "Hazen" on 10-8-2011. He looks amazing and will sell with Magic at this time. Due to cold weather constraints Magic will be held open until Spring.

Shasta Springs Winter's Magic is a medium rose grey female born on May 30, 2008. She is an exact dublicate to her dam Winter Solstice. She is a striking young female and the great-grand-daughter of our Silver Orchid. Her Dam Winter is also presently for sale.

Magic won First Place and Reserve Champion at her first show - Mapaca
She went on to win first place at AOBA and we planned to continue her show career in the Spring. She had other plans. Asking to be bred that Fall, I bred her once to Accoyo Maurizio and WOW - we produced our first 1/2 Accoyo Grey female! Maurizio's Magic Magnolia! With Maurizio's passing we were unable to deplucate that breeding.
