Soot, out of Miss Wise Obsession and Marathon's Dynomite, is half of a set of "bookends" born here last November. They aren't related but it is often extremely difficult to tell the difference between Soot and her cohort Amerikhan Mischief.
She got her name due to a sooty appearance from her first fleece. We looked and looked - there was just something different, like a haze. We fully expected her to grey out by her first shearing but that didn't happen. She is TB, average staple length, very, very soft and not heavy in the crimp department. Conformationally correct with good leg coverage on her strong boned legs - a direct thanks to her sire who has tree trunk legs!
Soot is co-owned with Dawn Dolpp, Mada Vemi Alpacas in Axton, VA.
