Premier's Jolie (Absolute's Sister)   

Medium Fawn, 816587, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Jolie is a full sister to rose-grey National Champion Premier’s Absolute. Her dam is Snowmass Don Julio’s Prestige and her sire is Cloud 9 Comet. She was a solid anchor in Premier Alpaca’s breeding program!

Jolie has produced high quality offspring such as Premier’s Rubio and Premier’s Icon, both listed as herd sires and both being rose grey, with micron counts of 18 and 16 respectively.

Prior to becoming a foundation female, Jolies’ past show performance was outstanding. She took first in both full fleece and composite competitions and consistently received high marks in fleece shows in the categories of fineness and handle, staple length and uniformity of micron.

When we purchased this male from Delphi Alpacas, we were apprehensive about buying him site unseen.....BUT, boy are we ever pleased.....he is one spectacular male!!!! Thank you Delphi! Levi is like a fine wine, the older he gets, the better he is! Not only has he placed 1st and 2nd in halter at previous shows, he also took 3rd in MB fleece at the 2009 AND 2010 AOBA National Fleece Show with a score of 19 out of 20 for his fineness and handle!

Levi's histograms have all been great, with low micron AND low SD. He has great density, gorgeous crimp, very uniform and incredibly fine - plus a wonderful personality wraps up this perfect package! His full sister, Appeline, is a National Fleece Color Champion!

Levi's sire, Avatar, a light rose grey Multi-Champion, is no longer available for outside breedings. His dark brown mother, Ally May is out of a medium rose grey Canadian sire.

Weaning time is upon us once again, and our little Dusky is not a happy camper!! I’m not sure if it’s harder on her and Mom…..or the Sylvester Ranch owners - watching our babies grow up!

Dusky not only has great coverage, fineness, density and perfect conformation…but she also carries the rich copper coloring from BOTH her parents. She comes with a very impressive lineage on her resume. Her dam is Premier’s Jolie, a multi-blue ribbon winner AND the full sister of rose-grey National Champion Premier’s Absolute (who sold at auction for $150,000 at the 2006 Futurity) and her sire is none other than our own Delphi’s Levi, also a multi-blue ribbon winner, and the son of Avatar, a rose-grey multi-champion!

Genetics, conformation and lovely handle makes Dusky a very nice female with a very promising future.
