Dixie is ultra consistent, she's a perfect dam for someone who wants a trouble free, quality producer at a great price. Dixie, at 8 years old, has a Spin Fineness of 23.8 AFD and so consistent! She is a beautifully fleeced Andean Pride daughter, Peruvian Dracula granddaughter. She is full Peruvian,half Accoyo, half Alianza. She's very very dense with great architecture, excellent conformation and coverage.
Yes she's approaching 10, but don't let that bother you. She still should have several more crias to produce and has always been in perfect health and problem free. That includes being an easy breeder, birther, and great mom. This is a great deal to access our top herdsires and get a great quality dam! If not for her two daughters in our herd, we couldn't let her go.
She had a fabulous Color Champion female owned by Copper Hill Ranch Alpacas! Her next cria had a 15 month histogram AFD 15.4 SD 2.8 CV 18.2 and >30 0.4! Her next daughter, now owned by Legendary Ranch, from Nova's Gold and has gone on to produce a color champion.
Her breeding to Snowmass Royal Flush, who is a Full Peruvian Dark Rose Grey, produced a spectacular medium fawn girl and her second breeding to him produced and equally fabulous white girl. We absolutely love them. Fleece, shine, staple length, body, typy heads...you name it.
Dixie's value in her production is absolutely top notch. She is a good mom, healthy, and flawless in her production. We could not ask for better.
Dixie bred to our luxurious true black herdsire Katmandu delivered a super-dense brown cria who took 1st in his first show and sold right there at the show as he walked out of the ring.
