| | | Sadly Rosetta died unexpectedly on 10/20/07 after giving birth earlier that week to a beautiful dark fawn girl sired by Black Icecapade. Rosetta's quiet, calm demeanor could be best described as serene. She was a cornerstone of our breeding program and a dear, dear friend. I miss her terribly.
Rosetta births out easily and breeds right back. She's a wonderfully low maintenence, low stress, zero drama alpaca. Dam of Snowmass Royal Rosette and Cas-Cad-Nac's Snowmass Legacy's Lustroso, Rosetta has proven time and time again her ability to produce top quality cria.
Snowmass Royal Rosette, dam of Snowmass Invincibly Lusterous, sold for $44k at the '06 Parade of Champions Sale and Legacy's Lustroso, 1st Place & Reserve White Breed Champion 2000 All-American Alpaca Futurity, continues to sire high quality animals for the Cas-Cad-Nac Farm and others.
Rosetta imparts an amazingly fine (not so amazing considering her lineage), high frequency, high amplitude, zipper-cr | |

| | | Here is the gentleman of our barn, Accoyo Powerball. He has fabulous presence, a gorgeous topknot he confers with regularity to his offspring. Our latest Powerball daughter is a full Accoyo -- and she has a huge fawn spot which makes her a fancy, no less! Accoyo Creme de la Creme will be in our spring show-string in 2008. Her full sister, Accoyo Little Debbie, is being retained as a foundation female, and has been bred to Accoyo Godfather this fall.
PB's conformation is par excellence, and he is incredibly dense. Until he passed age six, he retained a sub20 micron fleece which we think is pretty amazing. Someone fairly "in the know" told us Powerball was a B Line Accoyo, but we have not had a second source confirm that to date. Regardless, we are very thrilled with Powerball and recommend him highly as a male to add further refinement to offspring of your finest females.
