Anna is a white out of a true black and a brown (go figure!). In fact, a review of her registration shows that in 4 generations she is one of only 3 whites! The others whites? PPPeruvian Augusto and Peruvian Bueno. Could be worse! Oh yes, and I'll mention another few famous ancestors...Peruvian Dakotia and Peruvian Macusani. Her lineage is a veritable "who's who" of alpacas. Her sire, the bay black MFA Jax Max, had a micron count of 18.6 at age two @ his third shearing, and is one of four generations of blacks and greys. Anna's handle indicates that her fineness will follow suit. Her dam was purchased by BelleauWood Alpacas and is a prized member of their foundation herd.
A calm & friendly demeanor (well, except when her nails are being cut) and dense and soft fiber will make for a valuable addition to any breeding program. I've had yarn made from her fiber that is exquisite! Her mom is a daughter of MFI Peruvian Logan, and her sire, a son of CPeruvian Jaxon. Logan's sire,
Full Accoyo D. Peruvian Accoyo Diesel is a true Champion. His Sire is the great Accoyo PPPervian Don Juan II. At age 10 his fleece won Championship over all other younger fleeces entered at the 2004 AOBA Fiber to Fashion Show.
Accoyo Diesel's Dam, CPeruvian Accoyo Dallas 1008 IMPF98, is a winner as well. Producing many fleece championships around the nation. Most people are quite familiar with Accoyo Dallas since she has produced nothing but Champions thus far, including Accoyo Diesel. Some of her Progeny include Accoyo Diego, Accoyo Dechado, and Accoyo Sante Fe.
Two fleece champion producers combined to create this spectacular specimen in Accoyo typey fleece. With an extremely soft handle he presents it to you in a blanket of density.
Diesel's Full Accoyo shows throughout his crimpy fleece from top knot to toes, really stamping in the meaning of Accoyo fiber genetics. Diesel maintains uniformity and is sure to pass on incredible Accoyo genetics to your herd
Do you work with your fiber? Here is a boy for your yarn and fiber artist projects! Star is a nice young male, 5/8 Accoyo, out of lineage of the famed Peruvian's Don Juan, Augusto, Bueno, MFI Logan & MFI Barringer. He exhibits spunk,an engaging personality, presence and attitude. His fiber is soft, moderately dense, with a low amplitude zipper type crimp. The softness is enhanced by superior consistancy...just check the histograms!! For that reason, Star is one of my best fiber producers for yarn.
Not only a "looker", he has a wonderful personality. I have taken him into nursing homes(he'll even walk between the beds to let the patients pat him!) as well as in a pen to engage the crowds at a Farmer's Market.
So far, his cria have inherited his fiber characteristics and personality.
