Aurora is a beautiful dark brown McGyver granddaughter. She has a gorgeous maroon fleece, with such amazing luster. Aurora is a dark 1/4 accoyo. Her first cria was born May 30th 2008, and she is so full of luster and locks. Jackson Brown's Shimmer was sired by Jax Accoyo Jackson Brown, making her 5/8 accoyo. Aurora is currently bred to our herdsire Shasta Springs Ashton. They are both easy to handle, are large boned and have amazing luster. Ashton is a true black from two greys. Maybe a rose grey cria???
Jackson Brown is a very handsome and upright male, if he were white, he would be the spitting image of his Sire, "Accoyo Jackpot" his color shimmers as if it were polished gold, his lock structure is tight and uniform from his head to his toes, very fine and dense. His first cria is on the ground and she is awesome, she too has it all, color, confirmation, and curl, luster, curl....
We bred Shimmer to Mahogany Prince's Spirit in Nov. With the amazing luster, locks, and conformation these two have, along with the typee head passed to Spirit from his sire Mahogany Prince aka "The Head Master" who sold for over $300,000. We believe they will have a show stopper. Mahogony Prince and MacGyver genes all in one cria, with accoyo genetics, we can't wait! First Place in Fleece, Fleece Show Color Champion and Judges Choice out of 60 fleeces at MAPACA in April, 2010. WOW! Shimmer's regrowth looks just as amazing as her cria fleece. We knew she had amazing fleece, that is why we called her Shimmer. Shimmer's great grandsire is DDF Peruvian MacGyver, and with her sire being Jax Accoyo Jackson Brown, with her Grandsire being CPeruvian Accoyo Jackpot making Shimmer 5/8 accoyo. Shimmer is beautiful, her name describes the luster and shimmer of her fleece. Her fleece is also very slick and dense with 4 and a half pounds of prime blanket and a cool handle. Shimmer has wonderful conformation, she is large boned like her dam and moves so gracefully. Shimmer is also very easy to handle. She's so sweet that we took Shimmer to the nursing home for my Grandmothers 94th birthday, and Shimmer let the elderly pet and hug her right from their wheelchairs, she was amazing.
