Embrace was half of our original 'herd' when we started in 2002. She had 5 crias in 5 consecutive Octobers from 2002 - 2006. She then took a little break and had spring crias in 2008, 2009 and again in 2010. She is a great mother. She has nice sized crias, has plenty of milk, is attentive to the little one and rebreeds easily. She has been a great way for us 'rookies' to start out.
Her 2008 and 2009 crias such knock-outs, that we re-bred Embrace to Vagabond for a repeat performance. Embrace could go on to have many crias for you - an easy keeper for the newbie, or a worry-free alpaca on a big farm. Either way, she is an asset where ever she is.
