Florence is a true black beauty. She has excellent conformation and is covered from head to toe with crimpy fine fleece. Solid black, with no hint of tipping, she is the mirror image of her mother, Midnight, daughter of the renowed Patagonia herdsire, Caballero Andante. Florence possesses the same regal bearing and statuesque carriage of her mother and the solid frame and presence of her sire, Briar Rose's Atticus, a true black Macusani son. From him, she has inherited a sweet disposition. Calm and confident, she is easy to handle and even enjoys being petted!
Update: Florence is now three years old and has just given birth to her first cria, Jolene, out of our 2x true black fleece champion, BSF Federico. Florence is a fabulous mother with lots of milk and her tiny cria is growing by leaps and bounds.

A very precocious lad, Federico has produced two lovely crias and will soon have a third on the ground. He shows every sign of becoming a legendary herdsire.
Federico is co-owned with Windy Farm Alpacas where he currently resides. He will be returning to Bay Springs Farm in October and will be with us until spring.
Federico is a dark version of his full Accoyo sire, SHRA Calypsa. He has good bone and a very upright proud carriage that already distinguishes him as a contender. Federico has won several top ribbons in halter and was Reserve Color Champion at the AFCNA National Fleece Show and Color Champion of the MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show. Dense, Black and Winning Ribbons!
