| | | "Lucy" is a wonderful female. She exhibits head-to-toe, crimpy, bright fleece, dense, with soft, smooth hand. She has a wonderful head, with dark pigment around the lips, nostrils and eyes, (looks like her sire); she passes on these characteristics to her crias; she is very correct conformationally.
Lucy is 1/2 Accoyo, 7/8 Peruvian. She carries the Accoyo lines of Caligula, Auzengate (who has been recognized as an "impact herdsire" in Australia and whose genetics are coveted in the U.S. for their rarity and quality) and El Rey.
In winning a blue ribbon at her first show, the judge, Ruth Inglefield, stated that she was "well balanced, moved out nicely front and back", had "excellent capacity" and a "great, typey huacaya head"; she indicated that Lucy would make "an excellent foundation female". Judge Lavona Fercho called Lucy a "robust female" in "a class of superb foundation females".
Lucy has produced three crias, all lovely white females, Passion Vine, Ch

| | | We expect DoJO will do his Hemingway-Vengador ancestors proud. He just took 1st at the 2007 AOBA National Handcrafter's Spinoff, after having taken a 2nd out of 15 at the same Show in 2006, in the highly competitive fawn class. He took a 1st out of 6 in the same class at the Empire Fleece Event in 2006.
Acoyanza's DoJo is a magnificent male. He is all we expected, and more. His fleece is a superb, brilliant, coppertone dark fawn; very uniform in character and color, with a luscious soft hand. DoJo's has outstanding density; his fleece exhibits excellent crimp and staple formation; he has tremendous coverage. DoJo has a great head and stands erect and proud, as if he knows he is going places. We were so pleased DoJo that we re-bred his dam, Athena, to Acoyanza, for a repeat performance in 2005. The results, DoJo's full sibling, ADA Acoyanza's CopperPenny, did not disappoint; CopperPenny is equally spectacular, a "female DoJo". DoJo was named in honor of our dear

Kimimela ("Kimi", for short) is the latest criation of our unbeatable Lucy (Elusive Butterfly). She has a great pedigree, with Accoyos (Caligula, Vengador, Auzengate, El Patron) and Hemingway in her background.
Kimi exhibits a well-defined medium frequency, medium amplitude crimp in a bright, soft fleece, with very good density. She is well proportioned, with a lovely head and proud presence.
Don't hesitate to make an offer. She would produce a knockout cria with Miles Standish, or another Adirondack herdsire of your choice.
