Peruvian Mystico Maxina

Light Brown, 833266, Full Peruvian

Maxina is a 5 time Champion including a Reserve Championship at AOBA Nationals.

Fabulous fiber that is dense and very crimpy best describes Maxina. Her consistent uniformity is the cause of her ability to still produce elite fleece in her latter years. Maxina's gorgeous fleece is rarely found in alpacas of her dark color and would make even the younger ones jealous.

Maxina has proven that she can cover black, and her dam and sire have both done the same. We are excited about the versatility of this production dam, and the quality offspring that she can produce.

  El Nino's Valerian
    Light Fawn, 1279825, Full Peruvian

This 3/4 Accoyo El Nino son has fiber that appears to be dripping gold. Valerian has the softest hand and is incredibly dense, with a long staple length. His crimp is visible without touching his fleece, all the way down his legs and up his neck.
Seeing him and touching him will speak volumes more than I could ever write.

Valerian has the same calm dignity his dam, Verbena (a Victor daughter and mother to MSA Pinot Noir), has and gets along well with his 11 other pen mates. He can be led to and from his breedings by putting your arm around his neck and walking with him.

Danica was our last spring birth and so we were thrilled with yet another girl. It was obvious that there was nothing average about her when she hit the ground as evidenced in the picture of her at 6 hours. Danica has a beautiful light fawn fleece that is both dense (characteristic of her champion Mom) and fine (characteristic of champion Valerian). She is exactly what we had hoped for with this pairing.

Danica was strong from get-go and has not slowed down since. She has a regal stature, always carrying her head high. She is robust, yet feminine and dainty on her toes. We think of her as a ballerina. We have high hopes for this promising girl in the showring. She has a lineage that should carry her far.

It should be noted that this girl is also an El Nino grand-daughter; one of the few fawn descendants out that bloodline. Sadly, El Nino passed unexpectedly this past winter, increasing the value of his gene pool.
