Holly's background includes Peruvian Hemingway on her dam’s side and Peruvian Don Julio on her sire’s side. Holly is stocky, medium size, has good conformation and disposition, is easy to handle. She is a consistently excellent mom: all 3 of her pregnancies have resulted in easy births and gorgeous GIRLS. She is a solid performer in all aspects of breeding, birthing, and nursing—you could not ask for a better addition to your breeding stock or beginning to your foundation herd. Her fleece is very dense and fine and she has thrown pure white three times. This year, for more color interest, we bred Holly to our own herdsire, CRF’s Silver Moon, a rose gray with extremely dense, crimpy staple length.
Holly is part of the dispersal of Chestnut Ridge Farm. She is also available in a package at a deeply discounted price.
Mario is out of PPPeruvian Dracula, a full Accoyo herdsire. He makes a strong Accoyo imprint on all of his offspring.
Mario's dam is out of the highly respected, elite Allianza herd. The well-known Peruvian Hemingway came from the Allianza herd as well.
Mario has excellent conformation and bite. He has great coverage with his extremely dense fleece including fineness and crimp. He has all the exceptional Accoyo characteristics which are present and passed onto his offspring. Mario does throw color onto his offspring as you can see.
For us, Mario has produced white, light fawn, medium fawn, and medium brown. They are all excellent cria with great confirmation and beautiful fleece.

Mia was Eastland’s Holly’s first cria and born on our farm. She is a direct descendent of Hemingway and has impeccable lineage, clearly taking the best genetics of mother and father (Eastland’s Dracula’s Mario). She has perfect conformation, a sturdy medium build, and a very gentle, sweet temper. While she is a little shy, she is very easy to work with. She has long, dense, super soft fiber that’s pure white. In September, Mia had her first cria, Sophia, who had to be nursed for 48 hours until Mia’s milk came down. But after the rocky start, mom and cria are doing wonderfully well: Mia has turned out to be a terrific mom, as attentive and caring as you could want, while little Sophia shows every indication of developing into a champion breeding female.
Mia is being offered alone for $11,000 or with her female cria, Sophia for only $15,000.
