We had been looking for the Jolimont Peruvian Ivano bloodline for sometime, as his genetics have a high inheritability to retain fineness, with a box style frame. When we found his genetics combined with Alpamayo's High frequentcy crimp, and also the ability to retain finenss and character, we new it was the perfect combination. 2012 UPDATE- MMR Ascott has produced his first male cria on our farm. Birchleaf Jewel had an outstanding "Minni Me" of Ascott on May 6th.
Ascott's and Lexi's cria: Birchleaf Exotica just won 1st place Juvenile female in a class of 13 at the ALPACA Spring Show Mar/ 2011. She was the youngest in class by over a month. Judge: David Barbosa from the USA said" This is the youngest, Densest and finest in a highly competetive class of females".
