Melinda is a Peruvian import. DOB is given as 1-1-92. She is petite but nicely conformed. An excellend mother who produces exceptional cria each year regardless of the sire. She is not much to look at but don't judge this book by its cover. She is an awesome dam where it counts.
Deluge is a beautiful white full Peruvian female with incredible class. Her conformation is impecable, her fleece is fine, crimpy and incredibly uniform. She has a wonderful disposition and demeanor. When she won the AOBA Color Championship in 2000, the judge, Mike Saffley stated: I cannot find a single flaw in this animal". She is one classie lady. She does not have an ample mild supply but her 2006 cria was not bottle fed and he is is now a healthy, proven herdsire, so she apparently she can supply adequate nutrition. Each of her cria are outstanding. See "alpaca sales list" for her offspring (Peruvian Zephyr and Dynastee). She delivered a beautiful white girl, IVORY, August 2008. Will hold rebreading until Spring of 2009 to avoid a cold-weather cria.
