Medium Silver Grey, 831286, Chilean
|
|
| | | Autumn is a medium silver grey daughter of Danko, for many years, Alpaca de la Patagonias rose grey foundation herd sire.
She has been a fabulous foundation girl here at Las Flores
a fabulous mother, so far birthing only silver and rose gery offspring. All of her babies have been successful in halter and/or spin-offs. Two of her babies have won blue in the ring and one of these went on to win a color championship.

What a little beauty! This girl is exactly what we had hoped for from this pairing!
Ruby's dam, Autumn Crocus, a Danko daughter, has given us nothing but ribbon winning and champion grey progeny. Take a look at her half brother, LF del A Joshua, under "Herd Sires" on this site and her half brother, Aspenn, under our "Sold" listings. Another brother, Ash, won a blue and red ribbon in spin-off competitions.
Ruby's sire, Mr. Golden Boy, a gorgeous light fawn champion male, continues to win fleece show ribbons. His progeny, including Ruby, are doing his owners, our good friends, Jim & Arlene Parker, at Lakeside Alpacas, proud in both halter and fleece.
Ruby is entirely correct conformationally. Her fiber is beautiful and consistent. Her head is "stunning," an overused term, but richly deserved in this case. These attributes earned her a 2nd place ribbon (class of 11) at CABA Classic this year. The judge "liked her density & consisitency...she was balanced and moving well." Her 4th place ribbon at AWE (class of 7) was awarded because of her "strong front leg set, strong presence, good uniformity, density and character."
This year Ruby, at her first "grown-up" shearing (she was cria sheared at a month old,) gave us 3# from her blanket alone.
We are proud to offer this girl and feel that she would be a strong addition to an established grey breeding program or a wonderful rose grey start.
Awards Received 2010: AWE: 4th Place Halter (class of 7) 2010: CABA: Classic 2nd Place Halter (Class of 11)
