When we received the 2010 Making of Champions catalog I looked through it as I always do, a little envious. I didn't get very far. Lot #2 stopped me in my tracks. She reminded me so much of a female we lost a few years ago and still miss. Envy became longing!! We had planned a trip to Phoenix anyway so we went to the sale...just to "look". My feelings didn't change after I saw her in person and she's now part of our herd. The bonus with Heidi's Little Princess is that she was bred to Snowmass Matrix. Great! She did her share of traveling before she arrived at Cedar Hollow but she settled in nicely and we kept a close eye on her through the heat and humidity of the midwest. On August 22 she delivered her cria. A cute as a button, light fawn, female that weighed just a little over 9 pounds. K-State took care of the plasma transfer and on the third day we brought them back home. She's gaining every day, has cute little fuzzy bunny ears and follows me around while I work. Life is good!


We breed Heidi back to our Snowmass Quechua's Chaccoyo and she delivered yet ANOTHER female on 9/24/11 during our Open Farm Day. I was delighted and so was the throngs of spectators!
