True Black, 835465, Full Peruvian

UPDATE: Chocolate has just delivered a beautiful True Black, Full Peruvian and 1/8 Accoyo female from our 7X Color Champion, Juggernaut!!! Shadow is already displaying perfect conformation and beautiful fleece! Looks like another ribbon winner for Chocolate!

Gotta Have Chocolate is our True BLACK, Full Peruvian Sweetheart with Chaval genetics...and one colorful background!

Her Dam's pedigree has both Fawn and True Black. Her Sire (although listed as Dark Brown by the Alpaca Registry) is listed many places on alpacanation as a dense DARK ROSE GREY. He too boasts a pedigree with browns and fawns listed in his heritage. If you want color in your herd...this is the girl for you! But color is only the beginning...

Gotta Have Chocolate is a proven Dam with four crias on the ground! Although bred to Beige or Light Fawn each time, her crias have ranged from Medium Fawn to True Black thanks to her colorful heritage! All four have been bold,

UPDATE!! JUGGERNAUT CRIAS TAKE MULTIPLE CHAMPIONSHIPS and JUDGE'S CHOICE!!!

Princess, Juggernaut's 1st cria, is now a 2X Reserve Color Champion as a juvi.

Starlite, a gorgeous Juggernaut cria, took JUDGE'S CHOICE as a 6 month old juvi at the Buckeye Alpaca Show. Also winning her 1st Color Championship Banner and a Blue Ribbon!

Juggernaut: "used to describe any literal or metaphorical force regarded as unstoppable that will crush all in its path".

Juggernaut wins 1st at 2008 AOBA Nationals! Immediately placed 1st by Mike Safely, stating that his "fabulous and truly ELITE fleece" took him by surprise! "Each staple is uniform down to the skin...it's like looking down a tunnel." He also noted that Juggernaut was the "finest male in the class, with an incredible amount of fleece all over his body." Juggernaut once again places at the top of his class!

Shadow is bred to Admiral! We anticipate a CHAMPION cria from this Juggernaut/Admiral combination of genetics. Shadow's sister, Starlite was the 1st cria out of this mix of genetics and she is absolutely gorgeous. Starlite's show record speaks for itself as she is now a 3X COLOR CHAMPION being awarded JUDGE'S CHOICE (Championship of Champions) as a 6 month old juvi at the Buckeye Alpaca Show (her 1st show). Also winning her first Championship Banner and a Blue Ribbon. We are so pleased with Starlite that we decided to breed Shadow (a Juggernaut daughter) to Admiral hoping to get another "Starlite" from this same mix!

Shadow is a beautiful true black female out of our 7X Color Champion Herdsire, Juggernaut (A Champion producing Champions!). Juggernaut has been letting the dam's color pass through and Shadow is no exception. Her dam is our true black foundation female, Gotta Have Chocolate.

This beautifully fleeced Full Peruvian female boasts 1/8 Accoyo genetics from the well known Full Accoyo herdsire, Accoyo Grandmaster! Other lineage includes Altiplano Gold, and Peruvian Leah (a champion producer and a champion herself!)

Shadow's conformation is good, boasting a correct bite, solid frame, and good balance. Her fleece is bright with a fine handle (17 Micron in Black!), and a bold type crimp style coming in at the skin. Special girl? We think so.

Shadow has one colorful background! Her grand dam's pedigree has both Fawn and True Black. Her grand sire boasts a pedigree with browns and fawns listed in his heritage. If you want color in your herd...this is the girl for you! We believe that when bred correctly, she too could produce black cria!

Shadow's total fleece, heritage, and conformational package make her perfect for both the new owner, or established farm. Shadow should make for a solid production female with endless color opportunities!
