Pacifica's Malia

White, 810366, Full Peruvian

Malia is a full Peruvian out of Peruvian Aladdin. She has proven to be an excellent mother with an ideal temperament. We adore Malia's elegant look and are thrilled with the quality of her offspring. Sweet Pines Springs, her 2005 cria, took first place in the Fiber Odyssey Spin-off 2006 & 6th place in the National AOBA Spin-off 2007. Austin, her 2008 cria, is a gorgeous beige male out of Grazing Hills Maximus. He has wonderful conformation and crimpy soft fleece (18 microns) that we LOVE to put our hands on every chance we get. Luckily, Malia also passes on her friendly, docile personality - a trait that makes for personable and easy-to-handle crias. Furthermore, Malia is aging exceptionally well. She continues to produce healthy crias, easy pregnancies, and plenty of milk. In fact, at 10 years old, she has produced the most thriving cria we've had - Tundra has grown extremely solid and strong. We can always count on Malia to be a spectacular, loving and attentive mother.

  Spanish Peaks Alpha Centauri
    White, 832512, Peruvian

A.C. is an ultrafine white male with soild genetics for fleece quality. His grandfathers, Accoyo Peruvian Victor and Peruvian Hemingway, are well known for consistently producing top quality crias with extraordinary fiber. His sire, Snowmass Peruvian Oscobar, is a show champion, known for his extremely bright and fine fleece. A.C. has the most beautiful, soft, silky, fleece with density, extreme luster, long staple length, extraordinary handle, fineness, and a beautiful deep amplitude interlocking crimp along the entire length of the staple.

We are taking our herd in a new direction (darker colors) and have decided to let our best white producer find a new home. She has consistently produced spectacular, extremely fine white offspring who have ribboned in both halter and fleece shows.

Springs has proven to throw offspring with phenomenal fiber every time. Lovely brightness, fantastic density, luscious soft handle, and consistent bold, attractive crimp throughout the long staple length.

Her sire, Spanish Peaks Alpha Centauri is an elite result of Snowmass breedings. He throws champion offspring with long staple length, incredible luster, density, and fineness even when he produces color.

Springs' first cria, Avalanche, has long, bright, crimpy, incredibly soft, blue ribbon winning fiber just like his dam. He was literally up and running in 12 minutes after birth. We were thrilled with this very healthy boy and bred her back to El Campeon twice, which resulted in Trooper, another vibrant white boy with fantastic fleece, and Lumina, an extremely dense, soft, daughter with excellent bone substance.

During birthing season we appreciate Springs more than ever. Springs is a very capable birther and excellent producer. It is amazing to watch her crias get up and go in under 15 mintues. And she has more than enough milk to keep them strong and healthy. If we were keeping our herd a lot more wild, her crias would certainly have a leg up!
