Lady Empress

Medium Brown, 135044, Chilean

Lady Empress is a medium brown, statuesque female. Her fleece relects a beautiful auburn in the sunlight. With black muzzle & feet, she has thrown solid black crias when bred to 2 different rose grey herdsires, and a dark fawn cria (Escape, AOBA blue ribbon halter class and Age Champion 2000) when bred to a white herdsire. Emmy delivered a handsome black cria on 5-8-03 out of "Kash" a handsome steel grey full Chilean male who has taken multiple blue ribbons for his fleece. Emmy is currently bred to Branch, a rose gray male & 1999 AOBA blue ribbon gray yearling. His fleece was also awarded the blue ribbon at the 1999 OABA Alpacafest.

It was evident from the day he was born that this animal had the makings of a champion. His conformation and stature were supurb, his fleece dense & crimpy and his personablity, delightful. By the time he was 1 year old, he had already tucked 2 blue ribbons & a National Championship under his "belt". He has a "presence" that gathers a crowd every time he walks around a show complex or just up & down the field. He began his breeding career in the Fall of 2001 and his first cria was born December 2002. His first cria, Ohio's Lucky Buckeye, is a handsome male with personality, crimpy fleece which appears to be medium rose gray & was an ALSA Champion at 6 months. Each of his subseqent offspring has been of great quality & he passes on his rich color and stunning conformation. The 3 boys born to this farm came in second in the 2005 OABA 'Get of Sire' Competition for Escape. He continues to produce award-winning offspring.
