Showgirl lived up to her name. We knew when we first saw her that she was special. Looking at her show success, she is a winner. On her sires side is MFI Logan's Chance, a magnificent white alpaca with Logan and Augusto (who sold for $226,000). Chance was one of our top showgirls, winning 11 ribbons, including 3 purple Championship banners and 5 First Place Awards.
The dam is Day Dreamer, a rare top beige Chilean that has thrown some beauties, and mostly girls. We would not usually get excited about a light colored Chilean, but this girl is often confused for Peruvian. In fact, Chance was widely thought by show participants to be an Accoyo Peruvian while she was being shown!
Showgirl is a beautiful, correct girl with some top bloodlines. She had a gorgeous little beige girl out of MFI Peruvian Gathering Storm last year. She is due in April, and we have high hopes for the cria, with Jay Gatsby as the stud.
