|
| | | This black full peruivian cutie oozes potential. Her sire, Smokey Joe, is a multi-reserve grey champion son of Nic Nac (himself a renowned grey color champ). His great grandsire is the amazing Black Magic. With so many great ancestors, we can expect great things from Black Velvet. She has a luscious soft handle, pretty crimp, a nice look, and a very pretty, typey head. Velvet is a tall proud girl whose fleece is true black.
Velvet's first cria was a lovely, BIG, dark rose gray, girl- LaFawnduh! Her second cria was full brother to her first, a bay black bold boy- Velvet Avenger! Her 2010 cria was out of Nyala's Perucoyo Tamerlane and produced a stunning 1/4 Accoyo, classic gray boy- Formal Attire. Her 2011 cria was out of Express' Accoyo Greyback and is a lovely modern gray boy @ 21.6# -she's so good at producing grays, we'll probably repeat that breeding! | |

| | | Express's Accoyo Greyback is a gorgeous 3/4 Accoyo silver grey champion herdsire. His other quarter is Alianza. Accoyos are renowned for their density and crimp in alpaca genetics and Alianzas are known for their fineness. Hes the best of both and dark silver gray to boot! He is the only 3/4 accoyo ¼ alianza silver gray herdsire we have ever seen! He is a dark-headed roan solid dark silver grey, with no white spots! He is dense and very soft with a lovely handle. He has an extremely long staple. Ask to see a fiber sample and you will not be disappointed. Greyback has already settled his first 4 females. We think he will throw fantastic blacks and modern grays as his father does and we intend to breed him to a lot of our blacks and tuxedo grays. One cool thing about Greyback is that you dont have to worry about the white spot gene and its complications, when you breed to him! His father has made more modern grays than any other fawn male we know of. Greyback comes from a line | |
