Orlando’s Otieno is a large-boned, black male with excellent true black fiber. His fleece has great character and his phenotype is outstanding. If you breed for black, this male has a fantastic pedigree and presents a rare opportunity for breeders of black alpacas.
He gets his wonderful head and solid bone from his sire, MFI Orlando, a Reserve Color Champion, a 1st place Futurity Winner and a multi-blue ribbon winner. Orlando is also the son of MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite AND grandson of PPeruvian Timoteo! What incredible genetics our Otieno has!
Otieno’s fleece is a true black, with a bold crimp and incredible density……"Thick as a brick" comes to mind! He has a solid build with excellent conformation and a gorgeous head with a great topknot.
