| | | ARIEL is producing champion cria for us. She was bred to THE MONK'S OLIVER for her 5th cria. Ariel carries Accoyo genetics back to her maternal and paternal grandsires, Tardis and Royal Fawn. Her conformation is flawless and her fiber has an exceptionally consistent, crimpy character, a very soft handle, and is extremely dense. Her crimpy coverage is from her topknot to her toes. ARIEL is an awesome Mother, always producing large amounts of milk, and her cria are very healthy and grow very quickly. ARIEL GAVE BIRTH TO HER 4TH CRIA ON 5/31/09. We named him SLEEPING MONK FARM AMERICAN COWBOY. COWBOY is quite an impressive young male with lots of brightness, great bone, nice crimpy fiber and an awesome head! COWBOY has been sold to a farm in MA as a Herdsire!
On July 12th,2011 ARIEL had a MEDIUM FAWN FEMALE CRIA SIRED BY OLIVER! This is the first female cria that ARIEL has produced. We have named her SLEEPING MONK FARM OLIVER'S ALEXIS. Her call name on the farm is L

This is what we call IMPACT GENETICS! OLIVER WON HIS 7TH CHAMPIONSHIP PLUS JUDGE'S CHOICE AT 2009 GREEN MTN ALPACA SPECTACULAR NOVEMBER 1, 2009 AT OVER 3 YEARS OF AGE!!! JUDGE: CHERYL GEHLY ~ COMMENTS: "Well, my oh my! What a beauty in every way! (Is cloning an option?!!!)" OLIVER IS TRULY AN IMPACT HERDSIRE! A long time, knowledgeable breeder recently told me: " I have never seen one male consistently able to improve ANY female (even below average) as much as Oliver. I have seen nice males make measured improvement but there is a huge leap in development in the Oliver cria over their mothers. All of the Oliver cria have fleece characteristics resembling their sire. The fleece development and organization of character spreads further on to the belly area all the way under the belly, way d
