Winter Star

White, 1379204, Full Bolivian

Winter Star is a simply gorgeous girl whose fiber is super dense with a high frequency crimp and a very soft handle. Her sire is the handsome Sinbad from the AOA Herdsire row. For her first cria she is bred to Formally Attired a true black male out of Black Thunder, for an August 7, 2007 cria. We can't wait to see what they produce!

UPDATE!! Winter star has had her first cria! A handsome little boy!

  Formally Attired S841 AOA
    True Black, 845860, 1/2 Bolivian, 1/2 Chilean

Formally Attired is more then we could have asked for. The truly amazing true black herd sire has not only met our expectations but has far exceeded them. Coming from the reknown Black Thunder bloodline we wanted to make sure we chose a male that could step right in after we retired Black Thunder. Formally Attired is on track to have several of his offspring featured in our upcoming Las Vegas auction where we only show case our top production. To date he has produced black and grey 100% of the time when bred to black or grey. In fact his color genes are so strong that so far when bred to white 60% of the time he has produced black or grey! Miraflores, formally Attired’s dam, has been everything we could have asked for only producing the highly sought after true black crias for us. For those of you who are not familiar with Black Thunder, he has sired some of the most elite black and grey alpacas we have ever produced. Including a grey female we sold at our 2007 auction who has received

As we felt he would, Mr. October has matured beautifully. He has a sturdy compact physique, wonderful head and is covered with soft crimpy fleece and is INCREDIBLY DENSE. He has shown well in very competitive classes always being in the top 4. He just placed first in his class at the 2009 ABR Fall Festival, the judge commenting that he is "the complete package".

He had a very busy spring, summer and fallin 2010 and is lovin' it! We are expecting 10 crias from him in 2011!!

UPDATE!! Mr. O has 9 crias on the ground. Five females and four males. All have been very pleased with how the fiber looks so far on these crias. He has thrown all different colors from white to Dark Brown including a MRG!!

This is a male for which you'll want to take a second look!

We have sold all of our own Mr. O offspring as crias so he would make an excellent male in a package with some of our females!
