Light Rose Grey, 850979, 3/8 Chilean, 5/8 Peruvian

Rose is a beautiful rose gray female who has been producing gray offspring consistently, no matter what she is bred to! Her first cria was a light silver gray female, and her second a medium rose gray female. Her 2008 cria, whose sire was a fawn, was an exact duplicate of her color, and her 2009 cria is yet another beautiful rose gray male out of Master of Ceremony, our white champion sire. Rose is a quiet wonderful mom, and has highly sought after fleece that has maintained exceptional density, fineness and crimp throughout her breeding career. She would be an exceptional addition to any herd, especially one that is specializing in rose gray. She is currently bred to our Gabriel's Promise, another one of our champion males, for a Spring 2010 cria.

MC's first babies have arrived and we have been pleased with the outcome-- super fiber coverage from head to toe, fineness, good density, and nice crimp style. His first cria in 2009 is a solid rose gray out of a rose gray female!
"MC" has been a great addition to our herdsire lineup, exhibiting fineness, high amplitude and frequency of crimp, and beautiful sheen. His personality is also noteworthy, as he is very personable and sweet, and easy to handle. His grandsire Ross is a high quality rose gray alpaca out of Alpacas of America, whose offspring have been high sellers at AOA's anuual auctions. MC's great grandsire was Peruvian Pluro. There is a nice line of gray color going through MC's sire's genetics, which we are hoping will come through in some of his crias. His dam, a white Chilean import has produced consistently dense, fine fibered offspring.
