Annastacia of LEAF

White, 30568761, 1/8 Bolivian, 1/8 Chilean, 3/4 Peruvian

Anna is a white out of a true black and a brown (go figure!). In fact, a review of her registration shows that in 4 generations she is one of only 3 whites! The others whites? PPPeruvian Augusto and Peruvian Bueno. Could be worse! Oh yes, and I'll mention another few famous ancestors...Peruvian Dakotia and Peruvian Macusani. Her lineage is a veritable "who's who" of alpacas. Her sire, the bay black MFA Jax Max, had a micron count of 18.6 at age two @ his third shearing, and is one of four generations of blacks and greys. Anna's handle indicates that her fineness will follow suit.

A friendly demeanor(tho' with nail trimming..not so much!) and dense, soft fiber will make for a valuable addition to any breeding program. I've had yarn made from her fiber that is exquisite! Her mom was a beautiful daughter of MFI Peruvian Logan, and her sire, a son of CPeruvian Jaxon. Logan's sire was the full Accoyo, Peruvian Augusto, who sold for $226,000 at the Breeders Choice Auction way b

  Superstition's White Magic
    White, 1415957, 1/4 Bolivian, 1/4 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Magic has grown straight and strong. He is compact, muscular but an easy going boy for herd health work. His fleece is soft, long and very dense, and has come in with shine and a lack of guard hair. His fiber's quality is proven by a 2008 spin-off sample...he had the highest score of ALL WHITE's!!!!! He is white with some light fawn in the blanket area and tail. With his Bolivian Chieftain line from his mom and Black Magic line from his sire, he definately has genetics on his side, as well as the ability to throw color. His sire is Nyala Farms' SA Peruvian Superstition, a fawn color champion from the 2002 AOBA Nationals show.

His uncles include Black Jack Jax, Royal Mateo, Nic Nac and Magic Man and there is always auntie Black Orchid! No slouch, this boy. His dam's micron count in 2007 was 19.3, his sire's in 2002 was 16.8. Magic's 2007 histogram shows that he is following in his parents footsteps.

He started out at 16 lbs, five days later 20 lbs and now at 1 month has more than doubled his birth weight. I'm happy with that!

His fiber is coming in with incredible fiber; well architectured crimp style and a long staple length and soft handle.

I am hoping he can join in with his 2 sisters and enter a Get of Sire class at CABO in February.
