Per Snowmass Alpacas, "Enlightenment is the most magnificent grey stud we have ever produced". Per the 2009 Kentucky Classic Judge, without a doubt, best male animal in the show. This stunning male combines perfect confirmation and magnificent fleece. He is the "Total Package".
Enlightenment is co-owned with Morning Beckons Farm. Enlightenment is a restricted herdsire and outside breedings will be limited to 5 per year at both Heatherbrook Farms and Morning Beckons Farm. He currently has 70 registered offspring.

Wow am I honored to market "Starsky" he is truely an up and coming herdsire!
He is gorgeous as you can see from his pictures. His presense at his age is "look at me", his conformation, bite and male parts are all perfect and I must say ready to start his breeding program.
Sadly due to work demands this guy never made it into the showring, what a lost for the show ring.
His fleece is dense and carries the fineness we are all looking for with a crimp structure to match. Beautiful bone and conformation on top of that...just a beautiful male. So how did this guy get so gorgeous??
Snowmass Enlightenment-MRG is his Sire and his Dam is Azapa145 (import), Starkey is her last cria due to her age and wow is she ending her breeding career on an incredible high note!
Snowmass Enlightment's sire is Snowmass XXXtreme-LB, Snowmass Royal Rose-MF Peruvian Hemingway-WH, Peruvian Bueno-WH, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova-MRG and Sir Winston of Melbourne-BG....ahhhhh that explaines the fineness...the bone...the density...the allure of wanting to own him.
Why are the owners selling, retirement is calling and they are making their way to Arizona.
In the fall of 2012....Starsky settled his first 2 females, both ultrasound positive!
