FCA Josefina

Medium Silver Grey, 1127959, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Josefina has extremely soft, fine fiber with low micron, wonderful handle, and uniform crimp. Josefina is a strong foundation female with good bone and square conformation. She is an excellent mother with plenty of milk production.

Josefina has a nice, balanced lineage. Her father was the well known 5Peruvian Silverado 9042, a 1997 import from the Sollocota cooperative of Peru. Her mother's lineage includes two impressive Chilean herdsire imports: SA Karrington and SA Huckleberry. These all ancestors represent important and established bloodlines in the grey American alpaca herd.

Josefina gave birth to a cute solid black baby boy out of the silver grey stud LAR Vaquero in 2010.

Josefina gave birth to another cute dark brown boy out of Sir Ivan in August 2011. She has now been bred to the champion herdsire SA Peruvian Noche Negro for an August, 2012 cria.

  SA Peruvian Noche Negro
Bay Black, 840414 , Full Peruvian

Noche is an exceptional stud male with large bone, fantastic coverage down to his toes, and dense, dense crimpy fleece. Add to that his impressive show career outlined below.

Do you need to add great conformation and large bone to your breeding program, the toughest thing to improve? Noche has consistantly done that in all his breedings.

Noche is a full Peruvian black male with outstanding conformation, solid bone and good size. He has good presence and a "look at me" attitude, but is still friendly to people and enjoys giving kisses! His blanket is very dense and carries a consistent crimp throughout, and his coverage extends all the way down his legs.

Noche has 28+ offspring on the ground, and he has proven that he throws dark color. Two of his offspring are fawn, but all of the rest are either black, brown, or grey! He has consistently passed his ribbon-winning characteristics on to his cria.

Noche is in residence at Fishback Creek Farm in Indian
