We have lowered the price on Lily as we need to make room on our farm for our next crop of crias that are due during the summer and fall of 2009.
This young lady has the personality and spirit to liven up any herd, and her top-notch fiber and conformation should make her an excellent breeder for many years to come.
Lily continues to surprise us as her micron count went down in 2009.
Lily's micron count has has been good for many years. She would be an absolutely first class addition to your herd. Lily is a proven female and has had 2 male crias, the first in 2005 and the second in September, 2006.
We know that Lily can throw color as Lily's second male cria, WCA Tongo, was a lovely dark fawn. Tongo weighed in at 14 # 5 oz., and his IGG was 1733. Tongo was sold in 2007, after being advertised on Alpacanation for 9 days.
Just an update as Lily's fiber that was sheared in 2005 and 2006 has been spun into yarn by a local mill. Presently a sweater was knitted with her yarn and it worked out very well, very soft with loft. If you go to our web site, www.wolfcreekalpacas.com, and click Farm Store, and go to the "Yarn for Sale," there is a picture of Lily's yarn.
This sale will include a breeding for Lily. We are planning to breed Lily to our own Day Star's Peruvian Bulldozer in the Spring of 2009.
Fiber samples are available.
