| | | Presidio is perhaps the finest-producing son of Accoyo Caligula, and his dam, 3Peruvian Senna, is a fawn from the Solocotta region of Peru. He now has 6 "Get of Sire" wins to his credit & was 2nd in "Get of Sire" at the 2004 National Show. At last count his crias had over 50 color championships and 80 blue ribbons, and Presidio is only 7 years of age. His daughter Xanadu P. Donno Bello, had the White Color Champion Fleece at the 2004 AOBA show.
We will not offer outside breedings to Presidio after 2005 and we'll be raising his breeding fee to $5,000 for the 2005 breeding season.
Presidio's fleece combines deep amplitude crimp, incomparable brightness, density and staple length. He sheared over 11.9 punds of fleece at fourth shearing with a 7.9 pound blanket. He consistently passes his heavy bone, correct structure, perfect bite and reproductive capacity to his kids.

We rarely have a Presidio daughter for sale and never before a colored girl.
AND she's due in early September 2006 with our 3X rose grey color champion, Rayo's Roso e Grigio.
She has the type of fleece that surprises us each time we look at her. It just keeps getting more crimp while staying wonderfully soft. It's very fine and uniform at 15 months of age. It seems to be turning rose grey, too.
This girl is a knockout. She's is a robust female with very soft, fleece with a black face and knees. Her fleece carries a consistent crimp and lots of brightness and her conformation and bite are perfect.
Her mom is a silver grey with 8 healthy kids on the ground. She's a nearly effortless birther and has plenty of milk even at 12 years old. Roo has just given us a new silver grey girl from chocolate brown Presidio son, Xanadu Round Midnight. We've called her Xanadu Tangled Up In Blue in keeping with our Bob Dylan tribute. Rainy's 3/4 sister is gorgeous.
The service sire, Rayo's Roso e Grigio, is a rose grey son of Rayo del Sol and an Accoyo Legacy daughter.
Roso just won the grey composite class at the 2005 Nationals and the grey composite Color Championship at the Alpaca Breeders of the Rockies Fall Festival. He was also the grey champion at the 2005 Txolan show and placed 1st at the 2005 Kentucky Class, 2nd at the huge Mapaca show in PA, 1st at the Great Western show in 2004 and 2nd at the 2004 National show at just a little over 6 months of age. This should be a magical match.
