When looking to add to our grey breeding program, we came across Pink at the famed Chase Tavern Alpaca Farm in Maine. She is actually an Appaloosa with grey being the background color. But with alpacas if one of the colors in the spots is grey, the animal is considered grey. Pink is the spitting image of her dam, a lovely foundation female at Chase Tavern Farm. With solid conformation and a wonderful fleece, we are expecting good things from this girl. When shown she always won a ribbon. She carries Black Thunder genetics, and has been bred to the wonderful 1/2 Accoyo grey herdsire Smokey for a Spring 2006 cria. His rose-grey daughter, Cocha's Miracle sold for $80,000 as a weanling, so we are expecting a super cria from this breeding. We consider Pink to be an exceptional foundation female. Act quickly, this beauty shouldn't be here long now that we've added her to the sales list.
