| | | Karina is a full accoyo who consistantly puts great crias on the ground. Her most recent cria, Killian, just recieved 2nd place at OABA- the 2nd largest alpaca show ever held when he was barely 6 months old! He's light fawn with exceptional fiber characteristics. Killian is going to be a big male and already demonstrates a proud macho presence.

SOLD!!! Congratulations to Kim and Warren Shand of Windy Knoll Alpacas in Virginia. Oro will be a significant producer in your foundation herd.
Oro is a spectacular full accoyo production female. Even at 8 years old, her fleece is still amazing, and could easily be mistaken as a 2 yr olds blanket. Oros crimp is so well defined and consistent, that its hard to believe she is her age! Although Oro is an accoyo, her conformation still makes her stand out from the rest. Her back and rear legs are very straight, with a bite thats right on. Oro is a very solid and strong animal. Her rear legs are very muscular, and she has a solid neck, all the way up to her great square-shaped head. Oro is an experienced mother, whos crias are absolutely spectacular. In fact, the only reason Mike Tierney from the well-respected, Maple Brook Farm, was willing to sell Oro, is because he has kept many of her offspring for his own breeding program. Oro's spring 2004 cria, Bigwig, is a gorgeous full accoyo boy sired by the well-renowned, Bolivar. Bolivar is out of Vengador who sold for $101,000, and his Grandsire is one of the most famous huacaya alpacas that has ever lived, Shere Khan. Bigwig has amazing fleece, with great sheen and consistant crimp everywhere in tight bundles. He is extremely soft, and is a strong muscular boy.
Another son or Oro, Oro's Prince, is a multiple ribbon winner, and sports a 16 micron fleece and shears nearly 13 lbs. annually. 7 years ago, when the industry was still tender, Mike Tierney purchased Oro as a juvenile, at the AOBA auction, for $48,000. The fact that such a well-respected breeder wanted her for their breeding program really says something about Oro. Oro's pictures are displayed all over Maple Brook Farm's website including their homepage to show that Oro is what they breed for.
