PPPeruvian Applause 4964

Medium Fawn, 139069, Full Peruvian

Applause is a 1995 Peruvian Import. She is a very consistant producer of quality crias year after year, and judges agree, awarding her a 2nd place in Produce of Dam category at the 2003 Spring Fling.

Although almost 14 years old, Applause has been an easy birther and a very attentive mom. Her milk is plentiful and her crias grow amazingly fast.

  5PERUVIAN ICEMAN 9072
    Dark Fawn, 800687 , Peruvian

Iceman is a Full Peruvian import, and in my opinion, one of the most under-rated herdsires in the country. He won 4th place at the 2003 AOBA Get-of-Sire class. He was beaten by Caligula, El Nino, and Legacy-All Full Accoyo whites. Many regard this as the toughest Get-of-Sire competition ever held. Iceman did manage to hold off one of the county's best grays though, Rayo Del Sol, who finished in 5th. Cool little side note- Out of the top 5 finishers Iceman is the only one still avalible for outside breedings.

Iceman currently only has 21 crias on the ground. This makes Maxina very rare, without sacrificing quality.

Iceman mantained a 22 micron fleece at 3 yrs of age with a 19.2 CV. His colored crias are averaging 19-23 microns on their second shearing.

Maxina is a 5 time Champion including a Reserve Championship at AOBA Nationals.

Fabulous fiber that is dense and very crimpy best describes Maxina. Her consistent uniformity is the cause of her ability to still produce elite fleece in her latter years. Maxina's gorgeous fleece is rarely found in alpacas of her dark color and would make even the younger ones jealous.

Maxina has proven that she can cover black, and her dam and sire have both done the same. We are excited about the versatility of this production dam, and the quality offspring that she can produce.

Her 2007 son, Bonsai, is an amazing medium fawn junior herdsire. Sired by, 'El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo', Bonsai's fleece is as dense and fine with zipper crimp as any we've seen on a juvenile, and we plan on showing him with great promise this fall. Seeing is believing with this boy! He's the real deal.
