| | | Mariah Carey is a producer extraordinaire! We purchased her at the Spring Fling Auction in 2004. From the herd of Ann and Rick Evans at Enchantment Farms, we were excited about the opportunity to buy an alpaca that had brought the Evans so many great cria! Mariah produced the first grey Dom Lucillio offspring, Enchantment's Tinnie, who went on to win many times and Reserve Champion Gray at the Estes Park Wool Market Show. Mariah's granddaughter via Tinnie, Enchantment's Chiricahua, had an amazing show season this past Spring, placing 2nd or better in most major shows. Mariah had a true black daughter sired by Dom Lucillie who sold for $25,000. Her fawn "Luc" daughter WON the fawn juvenile class in the 2003 AOBA National Fleece Show!!! This male comes from one of the finest alpaca "families" in the United States. His dam, Mariah Carey, and his sire, Dom Lucillio have had four cria together and all have been outstanding. For starters, Dom Lucillio was sold for $400,000 in May, making him one of the highest selling alpaca of all time. His cria have won over 60 Championships. He is a magnificent sire. 49er's dam, Mariah Carey,has produced only top-knotch offspring. She is a grey Chilean import who is simply awesome.

-A true black female who sold for $25,000.
-Enchantment's Tinnie who is a multiple blue ribbon winning grey, a Champion, and mother to Chiricuaha - 2004 AOBA Blue Ribbon Winner.

-A fawn male who won the blue and a Reserve Championship at Great Western last year!
49er's siblings have quite a good track record and we expect him to follow in their footsteps. We believe that with his grey dam and the dark pigment on his face 49er will be able to produce greys and blacks with improved fleeces just like his famous sire has done.
In his own right 49er has excellent conformation, great density, fineness and a remarkably long staple length to his fleece. The first thing that impresses people about 49er is that he has a LOT of fleece! He has a great head and a fun, spunky personality that should serve him well in the showring.
