| | | Presidio is perhaps the finest-producing son of Accoyo Caligula, and his dam, 3Peruvian Senna, is a fawn from the Solocotta region of Peru. He now has 6 "Get of Sire" wins to his credit & was 2nd in "Get of Sire" at the 2004 National Show, in what Judge Mike Safely called the "best Get of Sire class" he'd ever judged. At last count his crias had over 50 color championships and 80 blue ribbons, and Presidio is only 7 years of age. His daughter Xanadu P. Donno Bello, had the White Color Champion Fleece at the 2004 AOBA show, too.
We will not offer outside breedings to Presidio after 2005 and his breeding fee will be $5,000 for the 2005 breeding season.
Presidio's fleece combines deep amplitude crimp, incomparable brightness, density and staple length. He sheared over 11.9 punds of fleece at fourth shearing with a 7.9 pound blanket. He consistently passes his heavy bone, correct structure, perfect bite and reproductive capacity to his kids.
He now has over 80 cr | |

"Ti" is a Presidio son who we believe reflects the very best of what can be achieved from the Hemingway/Accoyo cross. Presidio's outside breeding book closes at the end of 2005, and Ti is one his best sons.
News Flash - "Ti" won his class of 12 juveniles at the huge MaPaca show in PA, took 2nd in a class of 11 at the Great Western Show & just took 2nd in a class of 12 at the Mid-American show November 2005. At Mapaca, he was the youngest in his class at just 6 1/2 months, and Judge Mike Safely commented extensively that he had the finest fleece in the class and was completely free of medulation.
We're big believers of the "Power of Mom", and Ti's mom, NW Joy, is a Hemingway daughter from Accoyo Julia. Joy's also the full sister of Studmaster herdsire, El Bello. All of Joy's crias have been outstanding. Her Pacacutti daughter, Spring Moon, has won blue for us every time shown and produced a breathtaking cria for us from Presidio this year. We think Ti may be even better than big sister.
He's named after the ancestors of the Inca in Peru. A grand name for a kid, but we know he'll live up to it. He already sports a tightly bundled fleece, with lots of density and complete coverage and well as Presidio's trademark head, heavy bone and complete correctness. He has a dime-sized black beauty spot on his nose - does that mean he'll throw color. His Dad sure does.
Awards Received 1st Place (class of 12) 2005 MaPaca Jubilee, Harrisburg, PA 2nd Place (class of 11) 2005 Great Western Alpaca Show, Denver, CO
