Silver Shades is a rare Full Peruvian gray male. Not only is Silver Shades rare for being Peruvian, he has also dominated the gray classes in 2004. He should be able to pass on his color and quality, being out of the famous gray stud, Shades of Gray.
Silver Shades did extremely well in the 2004 show circuit, because of his extremely dense and crimpy fleece, along with great conformation. Just look at his show record below to see how well he did! Last year at 7 months old he walked out of the Ohio Triple Crown with 2 blue ribbons and reserve champ. This was with 2 judges not talking and judging at the same time. His show record is even more impressive due to not being sheared prior to showing, so was competing in cria fleece. Silver Shades coloring is very distinct, because he is a very light gray with only once rose gray spot on his blanket. Silvers sire, Shades of Gray, blew the competition away himself, taking every Blue ribbon and Color Championship for his first 2 years in the ring. Shades of Gray is now producing many gray and black Champions, like Silver Shades.
Grays are selling very high in the industry right now, but here is your chance to purchase half-interest in one at a very reasonable price, while still being top-quality! Silver Shades is ready to start producing champions for you this summer.
Silver Shades is owned by our friends, George and Sue Bailey of Silver Creek Alpacas in Ohio. They would like to keep half-interest because of just how nice he is. If interested please inquire with either of us.
***UPDATE*** Shade's just took 1st in the largest alpaca show ever-MaPaca!
