Sugarfoot's dam is La Buena Vida’s Lucia Mia (2nd place at 2001 AOBA National) and Crescent Moon's Rayo del Sol (Color Champion at AOBA National 2001 & 2002).
Sugar is an excellent dam. She is an easy breeder/birther and is an attentive mother with plenty of milk. She is also playful with all our farm cria. This girl has it all – breeding, attitude, conformation and fiber! She truly believes she is a princess and acts like one too! At the 2004 New Mexico State Fair she placed 2nd in the Shorn Class for Dark Female Yearlings, the judge for the class stated, "what struck me immediately about this female, was her femininity. She is everything a female alpaca should be." Then she awarded first place to a female who was "tied with the alpaca in second place but was larger in size." This girl is due in Sept 09 with a cria by Independence Day, plus the breed back, and free shipping, this is a great deal.
UPDATE Sugar just gave us a beautiful female cria included in this pkg!
See Sugars 2008 little girl cria in another listing on this page, she is a beauty!
She comes with a free breeding to any Four Corners Alpacas(located in NW NM 30 miles from Colo)
