Full Peruvian, part Accoyo, non-stop high frequency crimped fiber! The other half of our Dynamic Duo...Robin, is also full of personality. He just participated in a Christmas Parade with his buddy Batman and quietly stood for 2 hours while children petted him (even on the top of the head), then walked beautifully behind the school float for the parade past cheering crowds without flinching. Then they won first place!!! He is so laid back and genuinely happy to see any visitor who will give him a nice scratch on the neck. But be careful....once you put your hands in his super soft fiber, you won't want to stop. This boy has ALOT of fleece. His staple length is the best on our ranch and it exhibits a multiple crimp per inch style that is very consistent.
Robin is full Peruvian and part Accoyo from an award winning super dense dam who has award winning cria and an award winning sire who is a show stopper himself. Robin comes from nice Peruvian Accoyo bloodlines that include Peruvian Dracula, Peruvian Fabio, and Peruvian King Solomon. He comes out of the solid breeding program at Copper Hill Ranch Alpacas.
He is conformationally very correct and has nice coverage to go along with his great fleece qualities. Even at this young age we are seeing the staple length, coverage, fleece architecture, and conformation that gets us excited about his future. We will be watching him grow with great expectations, but have priced very low. Robin is owned by my grandmother and she has had 5 crias so far; all have been male and all white. So she has decided to price her boys low. UPDATE...she just had her 6th boy in a row, so she has lowered Robin's price again! This is a great price for a full Peruvian male with great potential...it's less than the price of a breeding so you'd only need to use him once for him to pay for himself!
Awards Received 1st Place 2005 Burleson Christmas Parade :)
