He is solid white, excellent bite, great conformation, density, consistant crimp and a VERY LOW CV!! His CV at age 2 was 14.8, around 16 from age 4-7 and now, at age 8, 30.6 microns and a 13.7 CV!!! Overall, very typy, pleasing to the eye and able to produce wonderful cria, the goal of a breeding male!! He still looks great at 8 yrs old as pictured above! Four of his ten babies have been shown and three have won ribbons including one of his 2005 female babies winning SUPREME CHAMPION FEMALE at the 2006 A.L.P.A.C.A. show in Edmonton!!!! Considering most of the crias have been sold to farms that don't show, we feel these are excellent results!!!! Don Quiote has produced 10 crias, ALL of the DOUBLE REGISTERED crias have been sold into the USA!!!!! Don Quiote will remain the only male offspring of his Dam who has also produced a Reserve Champion female. Our 2005 male cria (White Out, head pic and fleece to your right) was also sold to the USA. We are selling Don Quiote because our herd now consists mainly of colored females and we have purchased colored studs. El Alto's Don Quiote took 3rd in a composite class at Alpacafest in Red Deer, Alberta as a yearling. The show was judged by Cameron Holt and Maggie Kreiger. A 2005 white junior female won SUPREME CHAMPION FEMALE at the 2006 A.L.P.A.C.A. Show in Edmonton AB judged by Jane MacLennan of the USA!!
