Auntie Mame has had eight cria. Her first 3 of showing age are 1st place winners. Two of her cria are black, five dark brown and cria at side is fawn. All cria have excellent confirmation. All have been easy to train and have great temperments. Their fiber has been fine and crimpy. Maestro began breeding 2005 and Ares Summer 2006.
Mame comes with a breeding to New Forest Diego or breed another female to her son, New Forest Ares. We are also members of a breeding cooperative and you will have 8 additional males to chose from including a Grey Color Champion.
Mame comes with a beautiful female cria at her side. Juliette is out of Accoyo America Dionysus. Dionysus is out of Greg Mecklem's breeding program and his ancestors include Caligula, Camilio, Auzengate and other accoyo alpacas. He is dense and fine with a 17.2 micron first fleece.
Auntie Mame is a mahogany female with strong color genetics. Her registration shows only medium silver grey, dark brown and true black alpacas. Mame is an excellent Mom with abundant milk immediately upon birth. She is protective of her cria and they gain weight at an excellent rate.
We are selling Mame because over half of our herd comes from her line. She is currently not bred because we are slowly moving our herd to a Spring birthing schedule. She normally carries from 330 to 337 days.
