Clay is a beautiful 1/4 Accoyo, full peruvian, black, blue ribbon winning male. We are very proud to have bred this wonderful male with a winning temperment as icing on the cake. Both his dam and grand dam have had tremendous benificial genitic imput in our herd. His sire has blue ribbon cria and grand cria from coast to coast and he has won the much coveted get of sire class. Clays grandsire "Peruvian El Rey"(Accoyo) and his genitic influence can be seen in our herd as well as in many others aroung the country. We have used El Rey very limitedly making his genetics rare and valuable. El Rey has numerous blue ribbon winning cria in a variety of colors including GRAY!
Back to Clay, he is covered from topknot to toes with dense, lusterous, crimpy fiber. His fiber has wonderful handle. He is a gentle, potent breeder that usually accomplishes his task with one breeding. His conformation is square and athletic with heavy bone. His head is short and typey, bite perfect.
HHWI Curly Clay's P. Jana Rose (Solid Gray Peruvian)
We love her solid gray blanket and black underside plus her dense topknot on top of the cutest face. She has a nice, calm personality and is very smart and playful. Great combo of fineness and extreme density with the large bone we are fond of here. This Curly Clay daughter fits well into our plan for breeding excellent alpacas as she placed 2nd at Nationals as a juvey. As a yearling and continuing to her last show, the 2007 Great Western Alpaca Show,she earned herself 5 Blues, 1 color championship and 2 reserve color championship(behind rose grays). Her dam is a rose gray and Clay is TB. On 9/11 the day started out with awful memories but soon improved with the slightly early arrival of Jana's cria. A beautiful bay black girl named Adonis' Sweet Sable. Extraordinary fleece! Super dense tight knots of curl. Sweet Sable is now true black. Jana's 2nd cria, Laredo is also true black with incredible fleece. Laredo has a seperate listing and is a top ribbon winner. Jana's 3rd cria is a rose grey from KPR Legends Revelation. Turned msg by 3 mths but passed away. Jana will be having Impeccable's first cria so we probably won't sell until after that arrives in 2013.
