We bought Miss Katy from our friend Windy Perkins at Windy Ridge Alpacas. When I saw she had one named "Katy" I had to look at her. And I'm SOOO glad that I did! Miss Katy has a great personality and an exceptional fleece. Her fiber has a very soft, silky handle. It is very bright with a well-defined crimp style and great architecture. Miss Katy's fiber statistics are exceptional, note in particular her CV which indicates uniformity of micron. The is what gives her fiber the incredible handle it has. Miss Katy has excellent conformation. This girl is a joy. Her dam is a great milker and consistent producer, an inheritable trait.

Miss Katy is a proven female, having given birth to a white male cria a couple of years ago. She is currently bred to SCA Peruvian Shawnee for a Spring 2013 cria.

Disclaimer: Miss Katy had to have a C-section in 2011 after she wasn't able to evacuate a breech stillborn, but we expect her next birth can be a regular one like her first cria.
