| | | This fantastic male has turned out to be one of the best-kept secrets of the Pacific Northwest. Andy is a rare lavender/rosegray, 1/2 Accoyo, possessing superb density, great hand and a high frequency crimp to his fleece. We have yet to find another male that rivals Andy's strong conformation and presence. He has a wonderful masculine Accoyo head. His color is really amazing; the individual fibers being a lavender more than a blend of white/red where you get your rosegrays. He is also a fantastic breeder, a true gentlemen who knows how to be assertive when needed.
We acquired Andy in 2001 from a low profile breeder that owns a small select group of huacayas and suris. We oursleves owned only one or two huacayas at that time; we shortly after that acquired a herd of 30 huacaya females in June of 2003, knowing we had just the sire to breed them to!
