| | | Wonderful mother! Nike is very gentle and easy to handle. Her first cria in 2005 was a beautiful true black female sired by Dark Shadow from Grand River Alpacas. We have high hopes for this one, she will show in the fall of 2006. Nike will be a wonderful addition to any breeding program. Nike gave birth to a healthy true black male cria 6/11/06. We will sell mother and cria together for $14,000. She is due early June. | |

| | | We are excited to announce that Dark Shaddow has been awarded 2006 Reserve Herdsire of the Year! Wow, what a male! Shaddow is what is considered truely an "IMPACT" male. Shaddow is one of the best true black males in the country. Fourteen awards including "Get of Sire", 3 championships, presence, crimp, density, fineness, luster, conformation, thick topknot(the densest we have ever seen) and coverage. He is just a phenomenal male. Shaddow is as black as coal and his fleece is non-fading even at 8 years of age. He has no gray fibers at all like most true black males of his age that we have seen. He still looks as great as he did in his showring days. Shaddow's offspring have been taking the showring by storm, having won 34 championships (17 alone so far in 2006) and several blue ribbons. Recently in a bred and owned yearling class at the 2005 PAOBA Show, out of a class of 7, Dark Shaddows offspring won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards (all dark animals). Unfortunately they can't all win | |

Mackenzie is a magnificent true black, not a bit of white on her. She is a full Chilean Dark Shadow daughter. When she walks to the show ring, she is a head turner because of her glossy black color. Judges and show participants can't believe that she did not have a bath before going to the show! Mackenzie looks even better when she has been shorn! She carriers herself as a princess and has an extremely velvet black fleece. After I washed her fleece, getting it ready to be processed I discovered the shear beauty and glow. It looks like hair on one of those shampoo comericals! I will be happy to send a sample to interested buyers. Mackenzie is ready to breed anytime. I do not have a picture of her in the spring after shearing because I was not planning on offering her for sale. Personal reasons are forcing me to add her to our sales list. She is a sweetheart and is a favorite of the family and farm visitors.
