Kalvin is covered from head to toe with a small pearlized lock that glistens in the sun. Kalvin has inherited his sires ability to let color through. This is very rare when breeding Full Accoyos. In his first full year of breeding Kalvin sired 6 very high quality offspring all which captured ribbons. To date these juveniles have 4 Championships, 3 Reserve Championships and several first and second place ribbons. At the 2005 Buckeye the first three Kalvin offspring born finish 2nd in the Get Of Sire class The newest class of crias started showing at the Kentucky Classic with Jaguar (US Alpacas) taking a first in the Juvenile Dark Brown Male class. Sugar's 2011 cria, Sterling, walked into the - Juvi White Male - class with his brother, Tavion, and they commanded the judges attention from the moment hit the ring.
Tavion's Dam, Taffy, is a maternal sister to Sugar Baby. Both Sugar Baby and Taffy were bred to Mostacciolli which produced these two exceptional males - who have almost identical DNA. Tavion and Sterling.
Sterling (Sugar's 2011 cria) placed 2nd to his older brother, Tavion. Tavion then went on to take the White Color Champion -- as a Juvi!!!!
