Dark Silver Grey, 836205, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian
| | | Droxie is a very beautiful dark silver grey female with a white tuxedo. She is a very large, conformationally correct female and will no doubt follow in her mother's footsteps as a very easy birther with an abundant supply of milk. See more about Droxie on her individual AN listing page. | |

Avalon's Peruvian Whirlwind

White, 822405, Full Peruvian

| | | Whirlwind carries the genetics of 3Peruvian Cordero 6002, an exceptional herdsire who has only recently returned from Australia, and Sonoma, a Sollocota import. A breeding to Whirlwind produces a cria whose bloodlines have not saturated the national market - a great advantage to the seller. This is especially true since both Whirlwind and his sire AFA Peruvian Nevar are Multi Blue Ribbon Winners! Cordero passed on his attributes to Nevar and Nevar has passed these attributes onto Whirlwind. Nevar had his 9th shearing in 2005: AFD 23.2 SD 4.2 CV 19.2 CF 92.9%. Not bad for an old guy! This is the stuff that Whirlwind is made of. Get Whirlwind's extremely dense, wonderfully crimpy, locking, bright fiber that forms consistent bundles from the topknot to the toes on your next cria! You won't care whether it's a male or a female!! Isn't that how it should be? Our Shearer, Matt Best, formerly of Magical Farms, and his wife Jozie, who both see plenty of nice fiber, were very impressed t | |

Paco is ready to breed! Bring the fiber characteristics of beige to a possible gray cria by breeding your gray female to Paco. Paco is a Whirlwind son out of a charcoal gray dam, SMKF Droxie. Paco has excellent conformation and he carries an extremely dense fleece with very tactile, high definition crimp. Even his neck fiber is amazing - very dense with very consistent crimp. With Paco's genetic color background, I think he would be perfect bred to grays - the fiber of the cria would be upgraded significantly and it is very apt to be either a Rose Gray or a Silver Gray cria. His dam has produced both. A very promising male whose breeding career is just beginning. I will be using him on Cecilina, my Colorado-Pisarata daughter, after she births. As most of you probably know Colorado is an Ore Hill DRG herdsire who no longer is available for outside breedings. Paco's maternal half-brother is Dartilio, a very nice dark rose gray male, sired by the Bueno son Maple Brook Artilio. Dartilio has been purchased by an alpaca farm in Pennsylvania as a herdsire. Paco has the ability to add fine, yet dense fiber with very tactile crimp, very correct conformation, presence, and an amazing array of color genetics to your herd at a very reasonable price. Don't let this opportunity pass you by. Paco's sire, Whirlwind, is one of the main Blue Ribbon winning/White Color Champion herdsires used at Sleeping Monk Farm. Put Paco to work for your farm. His Macho is already showing! We would love to talk more about Paco with you so give us a call at 603.878.2183 or send us an email today while your thoughts of Paco are still fresh in your mind. Let's Talk Alpaca!!!
