Luna is the epitome of structure, style and grace, the absolute synergy of dam Ms. Genevieve & sire Spanish Peaks Alpha Centauri. Her conformation & bite are right on, she has a beautiful head & incredible presence. The brightness of her fleece is wonderful, she has high frequency/medium amplitude crimp from topknot to tail & down into her legs & from skin to tip in an incredible staple. Please note the 2008 sorting/grading of her fleece. In terms of the alpaca fiber industry, Grade 2 equates to "superfine", or 20 - 22.9 microns. As you can see, her neck fiber graded a "1" which equates to ultrafine, or <20 microns. Luna's 2009 & 2010 fleeces remained consistant, again being awarded a "2" by a certified sorter but had to be dehaired due to long primaries. Luna has Victor, Hemingway & Caligula genetics in her background & I have no doubt will continue to produce wonderful cria.
Luna has proven herself to be an excellent first time mom, raising her son Dash with love and protectiveness, providing ample milk for wonderful growth. Luna's grand-dam, PPPeruvian Molly gave her daughter Ms. Gen and Granddaughter Luna, terrific mothering instincts and capabilites.
