Sophia is a large statured, true black full Peruvian girl out of a true black Snowmass Peruvian Casanova daughter! Sophia is sired by Peruvian Bam Bam, a grey multiple Blue Ribbon winning (including the 2004 AOBA Nationals) son of Peruvian Nic Nac.
Sophia took a Reserve Color Championship at the very competitive Michigan Alpaca Show 2007. Her dam is also a ribbon winner out of our own multiple Get of Sire Snowmass Peruvian Casanova! We bought Sophie’s grand dam as one of our full Peruvian foundation dams from the 1998 Peruvian importation, and this is the third generation of breeding up to some of the top black and grey genetics in the country!
For the fourth generation, we have bred her to our own Accoyo Express’ Expressions, our medium fawn full Accoyo sired by the multiple Champion producing colored Accoyo Express (Sire of Lot # 2, Express’ Silver Charm). Just imagine what crossing the genetics of Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Peruvian Bam Bam and Accoyo Express can do to criate a richly colored, full Peruvian/half Accoyo offspring in your herd!
