Rockford's Rosa Cloud

Light Silver Grey, 1013115, 3/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

Rosa Cloud is our beautiful medium silver grey daughter out of AOBA 1st prizewinning Stella Cloud (herself a Danko daughter). She has developed into a little clone of her renowned MSG Herdsire, multiple prizewinning Aussie Rockford (son of Accoyo Felix). Rosa was born in a cloud of rose-grey fleece. Her copious fleece is exhibiting extraordinary brightness and high-frequency crimp, from her upper neck to her knees and tail; very soft! She has sturdy straight legs, beautiful bite and superb head. Rosa produced an outstanding medium silver grey female, ADA Dali's Gala, from our studly Patagonia's Dali, son of Patagonia's Drake and grandson of legendary Danko, producer of champions.

Rosa's line, the "Cloud" line has produced National blue-ribbon winners and Champions, with regularity.

Rosa has been bred to our AOBA 2004 National Reserve Champion Black Huacaya, Mezcal, the fabulous son of Reserve Huacaya Herdsire of the Year, Dark Shaddow. This should be a breeding

  Grand River Mezcal
    Bay Black, 849322, 3/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

Grand River Mezcal is, in our opinion (and that of some of the worlds most renowned judges) one of the finest black huacaya males in the Nation. He is the son of Dark Shaddow (who has won numerous awards: most recently, Dark Reserve Herdsire of the Year at the 2006 Futurity; Get of Sire at the 2004 Kentucky Classic, [of which Mezcal was a part]; 3 Championships, and more).

Mezcal himself has accumalated an impressive array of awards (see below), culminating in his 1st Place and Reserve Championship award at the AOBA 2004 National Show, out of fifty of the finest black males in the country, at only 8 months of age! In this highly competitive show, the largest at that time in North America, Mezcal beat out Crescent Moon's Kryptonite, himself a National Champion in 2003, whose 1/2 interest sold for $175.000!! Mezcal is the Real Deal!!

"Mezzie", as we fondly call him, has extraordinary fleece, bright, with lovely crimp, literally from head to toe. His fleece handles lik

The minute we took a look at him, we knew we had to name him PhantomCloud. The Phantom part is a no-brainer, the Cloud part is in keeping with his amazing "Cloud" genetics. His dam, Rosa Cloud, took a 2nd at the AOBA National Show, in fleece; his granddam, Stella Cloud, took a 1st at AOBA, in halter. Rincon Cloud and Orlando Cloud, to whom he is closely related, took Champion and blues at the Nationals; many more awards have gone to this line. Add in a sire's dose of Grand River Mezcal, our 2004 AOBA National Reserve Black Champion and a grandsire's dose of Reserve Dark Futurity Herdsire of the Year 2006, Dark Shaddow and "presto": Mezcal's PhantomCloud.

PhantomCloud incorporates a spotless medium silver grey blanket of exceptionally soft hand, a uniform well-defined crimp with stupendous brightness, great staple length and a presence and frame which is worthy of notice.

We expect great things from PhantomCloud. He should be breeding in a top-end grey or black program. If you are looking for a grey male loaded with the genetics of Dark Shaddow, Guellermo, Aussie Rockford (1/2 Accoyo medium silver grey son of Accoyo PPeruvian Felix) and the "Clouds", look no further.

PhantomCloud---a male for the future of grey alpaca breeding.

Note: His sire's first offspring to show, Quarry Ridge Madigan, took 1st place at the North American Show, in a highly competitive class of 15(!) juvenile black males. In the line-up were 2 sons of Silver Celebration, a CCNF Royal Ring of Fire son and a Quetzal son, to name but a few. Mike Safely awarded Madigan the blue ribbon. PhantomCloud and his Mezcal/Cloud siblings exhibit this level of quality.

Purchase him now at a very competitive price. Make an offer. We are prepared to negotiate.
